The NSIN is always looking for more pro bono help!
I consider myself a devotee of the Australian startup & innovation scene, especially supporting efforts to network members of this ecosystem on Sydney’s north shore. My key ‘hats’ are Chair of Squirrel Street, formerly Shoeboxed Australia and Chair of North Sydney Innovation Network, but also passionate about family office issues (family dynamics, philanthropy and the move by younger generations into higher risk assets). Aside from direct investments in Sydney startups and Sydney-based VC, I also invest in Israel and support efforts to engender closer ties between the tech (investment) communities of Australia & Israel.
I am currently completing my doctorate degree at Macquarie University with a focus in developmental psychology and media. I have been working at NSIN for the last two years and it has been such a joy. I am able to see the direct impact we have within North Sydney. Whether we are promoting STEM education in local schools or laying the groundwork for city councils to jump into the new generation of smart cities, NSIN is working around the clock to make positive leaps for the future of innovation and technology.
