David Spinks is the Founder of CMX (cmxhub.com), the premier network for community professionals. The community industry’s largest event, CMX Summit, brings together 2,000+ attendees each year, and 50+ local CMX Connect chapters gather regularly around the world.

In 2019, CMX was acquired by Bevy (Bevyhq.com) where David also serves as the VP of Community. Bevy is the leading provider of in-person community software, powering community programs at companies like Slack, Twitch, Salesforce, Atlassian, and Duolingo.

David is a three-time startup founder, an experienced community executive, and has personally advised and trained hundreds of organizations in community strategy over the past decade.
